Toddler Time

Toddler Time:  Meets Wednesdays from 9:30AM – 11AM, September – May

Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers are invited to join us for a joyful time each week in the West End Mennonite Fellowship sanctuary. Every session is themed and follows a kid-approved schedule to keep them active and engaged:

9:30 – 10:20 – FREE PLAY:  Toys and circuit activities encourage the youngest among us to develop fine & gross motor skills. Christ-centered coloring activities introduce little ones to first bites of scripture. Children also learn appropriate social interaction like sharing and taking turns.  Accompanying adults are encouraged to get on the floor and have fun, too!

10:20-10:30 – TOY CLEAN UP: Tots tackle cooperation and transitioning between activities.

10:30 – 10:45 – CIRCLE TIME: With kid-geared praise music, story, dance, and rhymes, toddlers work on listening and attention skills while still having loads of fun.

10:45 – 11:00 – SNACK: After prayer and hand cleaning, little bellies get a small snack while caregivers bond and chat.

Helpful Points: Bathrooms and changing tables are available. We are bf friendly–a nursing station with rocking chairs behind a privacy screen is available if desired, but you may feed your little wherever you feel comfortable. Adults should plan to remain with their child for the duration and assume responsibility for any injuries the child may incur. Please let the leader know if your child has a serious food allergy.

This is a welcoming group open to both church attendees and the community at large. Invite your friends and neighbors! We hope to see you soon.
